The Organization
The True Courage Action Network is a nonpartisan grassroots organization based in Austin and San Antonio. Founded in late 2006, TCAN is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization incorporated in Texas. Contributions to TCAN are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes because we actively seek to affect public policy. We rely on contributions from individuals and grants from foundations to fund our work for the common good.
